The new cord's diameter is smaller than the old one's. The problem is that the new cord does not hold in the jam cleats. I’m currently using paracord instead.

we’re sorry you’re dealing with this issue. We sent you an email and were hoping you could provide a bit more information so we can better understand what’s going on. Over time, pull cords can naturally wear and begin to fluff up slightly, which may cause them to appear different sizes. However, it could also be a deeper issue that we’d like to help identify and resolve.
Like other reviews have stated, the newer pull cord is a smaller diameter and does not hold in the cam under tension.

As someone here is already reviewing, the replacement cord diameter is smaller than the original one. The thing that clip the cord by the pole doesn't hold it well when tension. I have to tie a knot to have it hold.
